Meetings & Conference

The 3rd ngNOG Conference on ICTs and Education will be held at the Afe Abablola Hall of the University of Lagos from 24 - 25 November, 2008.

About the Conference

ngNOG conferences on ICTs and Education provide a forum for the coordination and dissemination of technical information, best practices and policies related to networking technologies and operational practices. The meetings are informal, with an emphasis on relevance to current and future Nigerian backbone and consortium practices.

The conference has been adapted from AfNOG conferences and the ICTs and Education Conferences that was initiated by the University of Jos in 2003. The meetings are also fashioned after AfNOG’s and consist of engineering staff from network service providers, managers from IT enterprises, policy makers, regulatory bodies, and senior members and administrators of the research and education community.

Delegates to the ngNOG Workshop are automatically admitted to the Conference.

Joining Information and Application forms for delegates who only wish to register for the Meetings and the Conference will soon be published on this site.
